Imperial Point is a neighborhood of 1470 homes and incorporates Coral Highlands & Westfield.
The neighborhood was established in late 1960 by Haft-Gaines led by brothers Burt & Richard Haft & brother-in-law Jack Gaines. It was to be a state-of-the-art kind of place for Northern retirees. Imperial Point had the distinction of having all General Electric products, including air conditioning. This unique aspect was written up in many periodicals as well as Life magazine as a modern place to live.
A model row of 10 homes was built on Imperial Point Dr. and a prospective buyer had the ability to select the smallest detail for their respective home.
Today, Imperial Point is a thriving community with young families & many children. A far departure from the original community concept, but equally as friendly and enjoyable.
We welcome you to our Wonderful City Park located to the rear of the Imperila Point Hospital. We feel we have it all, a Hospital, a Library & Publix. There are many resturants within walking distance of the neighborhood.
