Floranada Park, which is part of the school and is part of the City of Fort Lauderdales parks system, is the centerpiece of the Coral Ridge Isles community with playground, basketball, youth baseball, gazebo, sand volleyball and plenty of open space for soccer and football play. Ricards Middle school is on the West side of Dixie Highway in close proximity and just a few blocks up 56th Street is Northeast High, another outstanding neighborhood school with easy access. On our Northern boundary is Pine Crest School, a K-12 private school with a national reputation for excellence in education. On the Eastern end of 56th Street bordering Federal Highway is Westminster Academy, another outstanding private school also with a national reputation for excellence in education.
